Rich Media Conference webcasting 0

The Benefits of Conference Capture

Whilst event organisers are continually looking for new and innovative ways to attract wider audiences, there still remains an untapped pool of potential.

For every event, despite strong and successful marketing, there will always be the people who are interested but simply cant physically attend on the day.

Medius Ltd work to maximise both an event’s reach and it’s investment efficiency by providing access to those absent consumers. In tune with an increasingly consumer customised world, In Situ productions is built upon an ‘events on demand’ philosophy; it produces live event webcasts which can then be viewed at any time, during or after the event itself.

This gives more people a chance to participate, whilst providing a reference tool for a later date. For the event sponsors a webcast means significantly more exposure and an increased return on investment.

To view a showcase of our recent conference captures follow this link,
Medius TV Webcast

Advantages of webcasting an event:

  • Ultimate event impact:

Increased attendees through inclusion of virtual attendance
Increased involvement – Post event viewing allows on site attendees to focus on the session rather than taking notes
Opportunity to cross/up sell for other training and events on the hosting web page

  • Monetisation of content through creation of new Revenue Streams:

Virtual conference registration system potentially providing additional revenue stream through e-commerce
Post event e-commerce revenue generation. Through webcasting an event an archive of rich media content is generated. Linked to a simple marketing strategy a ‘Long Tail’ business can be generated.
Sponsorship and Advertising

  • Webcasting creates more exposure for event sponsors, thereby allowing event organisers to attract higher levels of sponsorship
  • Webcasts create an opportunity to attract targeted advertising that can be displayed on hosting page.
  • Ultimate accessibility:

The event can be accessed ‘on demand’ when most convenient for the consumer
Virtual participation in live Q&A sessions
PR tool to attract those companies/individuals seeking to reduce carbon footprint

  • Additional post event benefits

Unique content for marketing/ promoting future events
A powerful reference tool
Post event analysis through ability to track online interest areas and presenter popularity
