Aerial Perspective

Posted on: 10-7-2007 Posted in: Elevated Photography, High Level Photography, Photographic Services

Potential high fliers may be interested to note that a news photographer is using a 25 metre, 75 foot, extendable elevated mast to provide new and unusual perspective on matters, while his feet remain firmly on terra firma.  High Level Photography Ltd’s High Level Photgraphy service, or elevated photography as it is sometimes know as, is based in Surrey and uses the latest Digital SLR technology on the end of the mast which is attached to a specially modified vehicle.

The camera can be precisely controlled  and triggered by remote control and the pictures are be monitored from the vehicle..  Exposure and other settings are also controlled remotely from the vehicle.

Apart from providing the camera with an unusual vantage point this approach ro aerial photography has many advantages over fixed wing aircraft or helicopters apart from the mere considerations of expense.
